Land in serene Kato Meria with sea views

The land is in a peaceful atmosphere along the road between the villages Arkesini and Kolofana in the southern part of the island. Its slightly elevated position offers a distant view of the sea and the surrounding countryside. The land is 4100.40 m² and it’s possible to build a house of 150 m² and rent rooms 200m².

Arkesini is one of the oldest settlements on the island located 14 km south of Chora. The village is in a rocky area with little vegetation and the whitewashed houses are build on the slopes of the mountain Korakas. Between the rocks are small fertile valleys and plains with many fruit trees and olive groves.  The main livelihood is farming, cattle-breeding, and fishing. Nature here is calm and serene and just outside the village is the tower of Agia Triada which dates back to the 4th century BC and it is believed that it was used for defensive purposes. The nearest beach is Ammoudi which you can reach only by walking.

Kolofana is an agricultural village located 17 km south of Chora. The population is small, and their livelihood is fishing, farming, and cattle breeding. The whitewashed houses are spread in the village and decorated according to the Amorgian traditional style. The nearest beach is the lovely beach of Paradisia.
The celebration of the church Agia Paraskevi, every year 25-26 July, is the biggest festival in the Cyclades and attracts visitors from all over the world.
